Once upon a time there was a small dung beetle, and like most dung beetles it was hungry. Mushroom season was coming to an end, but there were still rosetops to be found, a favourite in the beetle community.

When morning came purple dung beetles flocked out of their homes dead-set on getting their tiny insect hands on the much sought-after treat. In the end, only one single beetle remained, and it just so happens to be the hero of our story. With its broken wings everything seemed doomed… But maybe there is hope left for a hurt, hungry, but inventive dung beetle?
